| Taking place in a future where a deadly virus is terrorizing Tokyo, BETTERMAN finds the fate of the world resting in the hands of two mysterious do-gooders. One is the shadowy Akamatsu Industries, an organization disguised as a machine factory that actually fights the virus with neurally enhanced weapons. The other is Betterman, a lone warrior dedicated to saving the citizens of his beloved metropolis. In these episodes, the Akamatsu team finally tracks down the deadly Algernon and begins plans for an assault. As the team prepares to face what may be certain death, they strengthen their resolve and begin the fight, finding out the secrets of Betterman in the process. |
